1942 State of Minnesota Agricultural Award program. This consists of a Letter, Lapel Pin and Service Flag. This was given to farmers during 1942 for increased food production during the war. The program director was Ole Flaat. The lapel pin is a Josten's Sterling Pin with Screw back Holder. The pin measure approx 3/4" long. It is stamped on the back "Josten's Owatonna Sterling. The service Flag measures 10" by 8". the letter measures 9" by 6". the letter and flag shows some wear and fold marks, someone has written on the letter. This is a very unique World war II item.
